In the heart of a 7-hectare estate, we welcome you all year round, in apartments and studios, and from April to September at the campsite!

Along the river

La Rivière has taken up residence on a 7-hectare wooded and flower-filled estate, where the sound of birdsong, the sound of water, and the rustling of the wind in the trees will accompany you throughout your stay.

You will be charmed by the landscape created by the cliffs, the Vézère River, the verdant nature, and the village of Les Eyzies. The main building blends perfectly into this natural, unspoiled setting.

You'll feel alone in the world, while being just a 10-minute walk from the village center and all its amenities.

Our riverside campsite in Les Eyzies is an oasis of calm and serenity in the heart of the Périgord Noir tourist region.

A family story

Our family campsite in Les Eyzies opened its doors in the 1960s, by the grandparents of the current owners. The parents took over in 1984, before passing the torch to Marie-Paule and Amandine, the two sisters, in 2010.

Even today, the values of hospitality, accessibility and preservation of the environment have always been maintained. Our objective has always been clear: to offer you the Périgord Noir and the Dordogne on a platter, while ensuring quality services in a peaceful setting.

Pioneers in eco-responsible tourism

Camping Appart'Hôtel La Rivière was a precursor in eco-responsibility, having been the first campsite in Dordogne to be eco-labelled in 2010. We are still now labeled“Ecotourism in the Vézère Valley”.

We implement different actions daily to reduce our impact on the environment: energy saving, working with local producers, walking and cycling trips and many others.

We are also labeled “Tourism & Disability » for the four forms of disability.

Opening Hours:

Our reception is open every day from 9am to 7pm from April to September.

Services are open from 8am to 6:30pm in low season and from 8am to 9pm in July and August.

The swimming pools are open from 10am to 7pm in low season and from 10am to 9pm in July and August.
